The Dragon Vent venting range will work with all 150mm outlet rangehoods. If you have a 120, 195 or 200mm outlet we can supply a y-piece adaptor to a double inlet vent which will give the rangehood maximum flow.
The Dragon Vent will reduce the noise of your rangehood by increasing the flow rate which will then lower back pressure and restriction on the motor resulting in less motor noise.
Flies and insects getting inside rangehoods are a major issue in Australia. They commonly enter the home via standard mushroom style roof flumes that are open and don’t have the right (or any) ember mesh / pest guards in place.
The Dragon Vents venting range all come with enclosed mesh stopping any flies or vermin getting inside the system and are designed to stop ember intrusion during a bushfire.
The standard Dragon Vent range for tin roofs comes in four main Colorbond colours (Surf Mist, Monument, Shale Grey and Dune) as well as black and terracotta for tiled roofs.
